Pawara liveaboard

Pawara

MV Pawara is very good value for such a high quality Similan islands liveaboard. It’s prices are slightly cheaper than boats of a similar standard so it tends to book up quickly.

Pawara offers a few little extras that other boats don’t. It is one of the few boats to offer free Nitrox to certified divers. Plus, there is free WI-FI on board and cabins have safety boxes.

Master (double bed) cabins and Deluxe (twin bed) cabins are on the main deck. They have large windows and private en-suite bathrooms.

The standard cabins are on the lower deck and can be either twin bed or double bed configuration. Standard cabins have porthole windows and less headroom (about 190cm). They also have private en-suite bathrooms.

There are two budget cabins on the lower deck that share one bathroom. Budget cabins do not have windows.

Pawara’s dive staff are a cheerful bunch lead expertly by a very experienced and multi lingual cruise director.

Pawara’s food is highly praised especially by vegetarians who get especially well catered to.

Pawara was great and yes, I did see the whale shark. The diving around Richilieu Rock and Koh Tachai was great. The boat was very comfortable, my cabin was good. The food was great and the girls really made a special effort to cater for me being vegetarian, cooking so much food just for me, I actually asked them to make less! The crew was fabulous, all of them! The dive / deck guys did a great job in looking after us, my regulator gave some problems, so I ended up using theirs and it was in very good nick. The transfers were great as well, on time and with very friendly service! All in all, a great experience!

We had a fantastic time on board Pawara. The crew were fantastic, the food was fab and the diving was excellent. We have lots of experience of diving on Livaboards. This was the most professional and happy boat we have dived on. Marco was the dive manager and he had 4 really experienced, motivated and fun dive guides. We were with Fernando and he was really great.

The crew and dive guides were great – dives were conducted very smoothly, everything was organised and the dive briefings clear and quite detailed. They were also conscientious with checking our licenses and dive experience, which not all operators do. The dive equipment we rented was well-maintained and quite new as well. Food was wonderful, and the constant replenishment of a range of fresh fruit was greatly appreciated. The cabin, salon, sun deck and dining area where we spent most of our time was always clean and inviting. All in, Pawara is extremely impressive and well-run.

we certainly had an amazing trip. we did enjoy it so much! where glad we booked this trip. at some point you might hear from us again…all the best. Ueli, Germany

Hi Paul, we had a great time in Pawara and enjoyed it a lot. Especially the Mantas :-)). The dive team and crew where also very supportive and made the trip a fantastic experience. Nicole, Germany

Paul, Thank you for the follow up. The trip was great. The boat was in really great condition, the food was excellent, the instructors were (mostly) helpful and friendly. I actually had a bit of a scare when I got stung by something (I think it was a lion fish, but not exactly sure because it happened on a night dive and I didn’t see what it was). Anyway, they handled it really well and were super professional and helpful throughout the experience. We had a lot of fun and got to see a bunch of cool animals (sharks, turtles, huge schools). Our DM/guide (Harry) wasn’t that great compared to other guides on the boat… We’d def recommend you/Pawara to our friends, but perhaps not Harry 😉 Jessica and Adam

The trip was great thanks . You have an amazing crew and cook on board! Food was fantastic! Best I’ve ever had while diving. Mark
