The open water course takes 3 days. Start in Khao Lak and complete the theory and pool sessions on day 1. On day 2 you join the Oktavia liveaboard for 2 days 2 nights (7 dives) in the Similan Islands. Scroll down for dates.

Price: 24,300 baht

The price includes:
PADI certification fee and all required materials and equipment
2 nights  accommodation on Oktavia liveaboard based on twin share accommodation*
All meals on board
7 dives (4 PADI certification) dives plus 3 fun dives.

The price excludes the Similan Islands national park entrance and diving fee of 900 baht per person.

* If you are travelling solo you can share a cabin with another guest or pay a single supplement of 4,720 baht for a private cabin.

Master cabin upgrade is 4,000 baht per person. The master cabin has a king size bed, a private bathroom and a fridge.

PADI Open water referral on a liveaboard.

If you have already completed your PADI Open water course theory and confined water sessions bring your referral paperwork with you and complete the dives on the Similan Islands liveaboard for just 6,000 baht.

Certified divers

Certified divers can join this 2 day 2 night liveaboard for 14,300 baht plus park fees and rental equipment. Want to continue your diving education? The PADI Advanced course can be completed for 8,500 baht.



Snorkelers or non diving partners can join the cruise for just 10,725 baht. Snorkeling guides are provided and there are daily beach excursions with the dinghy. A non diver can try SCUBA diving for just 1,500 baht, no previous experience is required.

So Oktavia is an ideal boat for mixed diver and non diving couples or groups.
