King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point, Doc Mai
See: Leopard sharks, turtles, large schools of fish, soft and hard corals, anemones, gorgonian sea fans, clown fish, seahorses, lionfish, scorpionfisn and much more. Fantastic macro diving at Doc Mai.
Experience level: Intermediate to Advanced
Racha Yai Island
See: Blue spotted stingrays, moray eels, lionfish, yellowtail barracuda, moorish idols, bannerfish, turtles. Crystal clear water. Underwater statues in Siam Bay.
Experience level: Beginner to Advanced
Racha Noi Island
See: Manta Rays and barracuda. Strong currents and deep water at the north and south tips. Shallow reefs along the west coast. Swim throughs, granite boulders. Mostly hard coral. Gin clear water.
Experience level: Beginner to Advanced
Phi Phi Islands (Bida Nai, Bida Nok, Maya Wall)
See: It’s all here! Leopard sharks, black tip reef sharks, turtles, sea snakes, bamboo sharks, jacks, trevally and so on. Beautiful soft corals. Stunning top side scenery.
Experience level: Beginner to Advanced
Boonsung Wreck and local Khao Lak reefs
See: Low viz but still lots to see especially at the wreck which even gets whaleshark visits. Look for stonefish and crocodile fish among others.
Experience level: Beginner to Advanced
Richelieu Rock
See: Whalesharks. Richelieu is the best place to see them between Nov and May. Even without whalesharks Richelieu is an awesome divesite.

Similan Islands
See: Similan is Thailand’s best diving. Best visibility, prolific marine life and colourful reefs. Nov – May only

Koh Bon/Koh Tachai
See: Koh Bon is the best place to see Manta Rays from Nov-May. Strong currents at Koh tachai attract pelagics to the feeding stations.
