The best of Phi Phi and Phuket
Southern Explorer is the name of the Junk’s summer season (May to October) liveaboard itinerary which starts and finishes in Phuket and dives the best dive sites around Phi Phi.
Dive sites include Phi Phi, Shark Point, King Cruiser Wreck, Anemone Reef, Koh Doc Mai, Racha Noi, Racha Yai.
The dive sites offer a mix of diving including reefs, mini walls, submerged pinnacles, hard and soft corals.
Marine life you can expect to see includes black tip reef sharks, leopard sharks, sting rays, barracuda, turtles, sea snakes and much more.
Macro life includes seahorses and nudibranchs.
This is a great trip for photographers. PADI advanced open water courses can also be completed on board.
Itinerary
Southern Explorer itinerary
3 days, 2 night, up to 10 dives (including 2 night dives)
Day 1:
Board the Junk at Chalong bay, Phuket at 0830 hrs.
2 day dives and 1 sunset/night dive.
Day 2:
3 day dives and 1 sunset/night dive.
Day 3:
Breakfast at 0800 hrs followed 2 morning dives.
Lunch followed by 1 afternoon dive
Return to Chalong bay Phuket at about 1600 hrs.
*The itinerary is not fixed. Dive sites are chosen by the cruise director based on tides, weather and how busy dive sites are. Where possible there will be the chance for land excursions at Phi Phi.

Prices include: Dive guide, tanks, weights & belt, all meals, soft drinks.
Prices exclude: Equipment rental, alcoholic drinks, marine national park fees (US$35), dive insurance (mandatory), hotel transfers.
