Cheap Burma liveaboard

Our favourite Burma budget liveaboard is the Dolphin Queen. She has been running reliably from Thailand into the Mergui Arcghipelago for many years. Her owner and dive leader Joe knows the area as well as anyone, in fact he has a few dive sites that he keeps secret.

5 day 6 night trips start from 35,800 baht per diver. That price includes dive equipment rental, if you have your own you get 1,000 baht off.

The early season trips cover the southern Mergui archipelago dive sites like Twin Islets, Western Rocky, Fan Forest Pinnacle. The trips later in the season go further north to Black Rock where they regularly see schools of mantas and sometimes squadrons of mobula rays.
