KP Explorer
MV KP Explorer (aka Phanthip 2) is a lower budget Similan liveaboard, previously named the Andaman Tritan, and before that Dive Race.
It’s one of the cheapest boats with en-suite double cabins and the single cabin is great value for solo travelers (most boats don’t have single cabins).
While the communal areas of KP Explorer are not as spacious as boats like Fasai or Pawara, it does have nicely presented cabins at an affordable price. And as it only takes 17 diving guests you’ll never feel crowded and you’ll get plenty of personal attention.
There are two master cabins on the main deck with en-suite bathrooms. Master cabins each have a double bed plus an extra single bunk.
Also on the main deck are three deluxe cabins in either twin bed or double bed layout. Deluxe cabins have private en-suite bathrooms.
There are two standard cabins on the upper deck with twin bunk beds. A standard cabin on the lower deck is sold as a single occupancy cabin. Standard cabins do not have private bathrooms.
