Amazing Experience

We just completed a 5 day, 5 night live aboard diving trip on the MV Giamani, from the moment we were picked up from our hotel to the moment we were dropped off nothing was a problem. Also one of very few that depart from Chalong Bay which is close to Patong, Karon and Kata beaches.

Ricardo our Dive leader was nothing short of exceptional, his knowledge and experience were second to none and went above and beyond consistently, my wife was a reasonably inexperienced diver when we boarded but with Ricardo’s, Fabio’s and Wan’s (the dive crew) guidance left with a lot more confidence and ability than the 16 dives would otherwise reflect.

Also the crew were meticulous in rinsing our gear after every dive and the final clean was as thorough as the way I clean my own equipment. Towels were plentiful, cabins were cleaned during the first dive of the day and the boat is kept spotlessly clean.

Food, not what was we were expecting at all, it was beyond outstanding for all meals, Chef did not repeat a single meal, rumour has it the was a charter of 5 executive chefs and they passed on their knowledge if true it makes sense (if not it’s a great story). if you are lucky you will get lasagne night it is something special.

If you are considering a live aboard I recommend putting this one at the top of the list, we will be back and I am thinking of taking a charter for my 50th with a few friends.
