Bike Share Phuket Town

Update Sep 2018: Well that didn’t last long. Unfortunately Phuket Town’s bike share program was poorly implemented and Ofo have pulled out of Phuket. So at this time there is no bike share available in Phuket.

If you are staying in Phuket Town, which we recommend for a couple of nights, a great way to get around is with the dockless bike share scheme.

Bike share arrived in Phuket in December 2016 and the yellow bikes can now be seen all over town. Eventually there will be a charge for the service but at this time it’s free to use.

How to use Ofo Bike Share Phuket

1. Download the Ofo App and turn on GPS/ location sharing on your Android or Iphone. The app will help you locate a bike.
2. Use the app to scan the bike’s QR code and open the lock. You will need bluetooth enabled to do this.
3. That’s it. You are now free to ride. When you’re finished lock the bike and hit ride completed on the app.
