New Koh Lipe liveaboard itinerary

Diva Andaman is the most luxurious liveaboard diving the Similan and Surin Islands. It also heads up to Burma to dive the Mergui archipelago.

As requested by many guests, a new itinerary has been added for the southern Andaman sea. These new trips have been added add the start and end of the Similan season. The November trips are already full but there are four trips available in late April and early May 2017.

Departing from Phuket the diving will be at Phi Phi Islands (Bida Nai, Bida Nok, Phi Phi Ley), Koh Haa, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Lipe and Koh Butang.

These trips are great because:

• The dive sites. Hin Daeng and Hin Muang are arguably as good as Richelieu Rock but without all the other boats. Koh Haa gets better and better every year. Phi Phi is good for sharks. Koh Lipe is an exciting new destination, no other liveaboard goes there.
• Suitable for snorkelers and non divers. Phi Phi, Koh Haa and Lipe are great for snorkelers. Koh Haa’s reefs are pristine and shallow.
• If you’ve already been to the Similan Islands and the Mergui archipelago with Diva you now have a new destination to try on the same amazing boat.
• Good value. This southern itinerary is about 20% cheaper than the Similan itinerary.

Koh Lipe Liveaboard price

5 days 6 nights to Phi Phi Islands, Koh Haa, Hin Daeng, Hin Muang, Koh Lipe, Koh Butang.

Start and finish at Chalong Bay, Phuket.

• Twin or double bed cabin: 66,340 baht per person
• Single occupancy cabin: 99,510 baht

Prices include: Dive guide, full set of dive equipment (incl. dive computer), use of kayaks, all meals, soft drinks.

Prices exclude: National park fees, Nitrox (220 baht per fill), beer, wine, cocktails, Thai massage.

Koh Lipe liveaboard itinerary

Duration: 5 Days / 6 Nights (18 dives)

Port of embarkation, disembarkation: Chalong pier, Phuket.

Day 1:
1600-1700 hrs:Pick up from your Phuket hotel by air conditioned minivan and transfer to Chalong pier for boarding. 1800-2200 hrs: Set sail at 1800 hrs and cruise 25 nautical miles to the Phi Phi Islands. Dinner and drinks on board, meet your divemasters and fellow guests. Overnight on a sheltered mooring at Phi Phi Ley.

Day 2:
0700-1200 hrs: 2 morning dives at Koh Bida Nai and Koh Bida Nok
1200-1400 hrs: Lunch on board Diva Andaman
1400-2000 hrs: 2 afternoon dives at Phi Phi Ley
2000-2200 hrs: Cruise to Koh Haa

Day 3: 
0700-1200 hrs: 2 morning dives at Koh Haa
1200-1400 hrs: Lunch on board Diva Andaman
1400-2000 hrs: 2 afternoon dives at Koh Haa
2000-2200 hrs: Cruise to Hin Daeng, Hin Muang

Day 4: 
0700-1200 hrs: 2 morning dives at Hin Daeng / Hin Muang
1200-1400 hrs: Lunch on board Diva Andaman
1400-1500 hrs: 1 afternoon dive at Hin Daeng or Hin Muang
1500-2200 hrs: Cruise to Koh Lipe, about 50 nautical miles.

Day 5: 
0700-1200 hrs: 2 morning dives around Koh Lipe
1200-1400 hrs: Lunch on board Diva Andaman
1400-2000 hrs: 2 afternoon dives around Koh Lipe
2000-2200 hrs: Cruise to Koh Butang

Day 6:
0700-1200 hrs: 2 morning dives at Koh Butang
1200-1400 hrs: Lunch on board Diva Andaman
1400-1500 hrs: 1 afternoon dive at Koh Butang
1500-0600 hrs: Overnight cruise back to Phuket, about 90 nautical miles.

Day 7:
0600-0800 hrs: Breakfast served on board Diva Andaman
0800-0900 hrs: Disembark Diva at Chalong Bay
