Most boats offer twin share accommodation, a few budget boats offer 3 or 4 share cabins which are popular with back packing solo divers. (Dolphin Queen, Similan Explorer). But only one liveaboard offers a private single cabin. Hallelujah has a VIP single cabin with private bathroom. The price is 53,000 baht. It is always the first cabin on the boat to fill up so if it’s not available or if 53,000 baht is over your budget for a 4 day cruise here are some other options.

Oktavia 5 days 5 nights: 35,900 baht for a single occupancy cabin. Oktavia’s single supplement is more generous than most boats. Bathrooms are shared but the cabins are spacious and light.

South Siam 3 and South Siam 4. 3 days 2 nights single occupancy cabin with shared bathroom 36,800 baht.

Many solo divers don’t realize that it’s common practice to share cabins with other single guests. If you don’t mind sharing we can pair you with someone else so you don’t need to pay a single supplement.

Single female divers who don’t want to share a cabin with a strange man have less choice because most boats will not guarantee a same gender cabin mate. Boats that do promise same gender sharing are Hallelujah and Diva Andaman.
