A new Similan Liveaboard

The DiveRACE Class E is due for launch in late December this year. So far we just have the artist sketches and layout to go by. Whenever new dive boats get launched these days they always seem to be bigger, more luxurious and of course more expensive. This boat looks like being no exception. It’s sure to be luxurious inside but 28 divers sounds like a lot for one boat to us, typically we prefer smaller groups. But we’ll withhold judgement until we’ve actually seen the boat. The owners have been running the current Dive Race successfully for years in Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Cabins are either twin/double share formation with private bathrooms and balconies or quad share with shared bathrooms.

Trips will be 4 days and 4 nights to the Similan Islands, Koh Bon, Koh Tachai and Richelieu Rock. Quad cabins will be 35,000 baht per diver. Twin cabins will be 53,000 baht per diver.
